Edison State, Miami County Farm Bureau host Agriculture Career Fair

PIQUA — Edison State Community College and the Miami County Farm Bureau partnered to host the first annual Agriculture Career Fair on March 15, 2024. Approximately 140 students from about 10 local agriculture programs attended, where they visited with local businesses and learned about career opportunities available in agriculture.

PIQUA — The Upper Valley Career Center had great success at the SkillsUSA State Competition held April 9-10 in Columbus. Fourteen UVCC students finished in the top three and the school was announced as one in 24 nationally recognised SkillsUSA Models of Excellence.

Sidney City Schools to partner with Right at School

SIDNEY — Sidney City Schools is announcing a new partnership with Right At School, a nationally recognized school enrichment provider, for before and after-school care to replace Latchkey. Starting in the fall of 2024, Right At School will offer the program to students in kindergarten through fifth grades. (Sidney City Schools Latchkey will continue to be available through the end of the current school year.)
