Ohio School Boards Association Southwest Region to host spring conference
XENIA — Public school board members, administrators, staff, students and guests from across southwestern Ohio will meet in Xenia at Greene County Career Center on March 7 for the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) Southwest Region Spring Conference. The region hosts two conferences a year, one in the spring and one in the fall.

FCCLA members carry out ‘Cups and Cuddles’ service project
JACKSON CENTER — Members of the Jackson Center/UVCC FCCLA chapter have been collaborating with students, staff, FCS Classes, FCCLA members, The Fish Pond Food Pantry, Rustic Hope and the Shelby County Animal Shelter to carry out a service project called “Cups and Cuddles.” The project idea was born out of the latest craze over fancy drinkware, such as Stanley’s and Owala’s.
Kindergarten screening set for March 20
RUSSIA — Russia Local School kindergarten screening will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. Children are eligible to attend kindergarten in the fall of 2024 if they have reached the age of five before Aug. 1, 2024.
