BOTKINS — Tara and Andy Vehorn, of Botkins, have announced the birth of a son, Dane Leo Vehorn, born July 9, 2016, at 8:38 p.m., in the Copeland-Emerson Family Birth Center at Wilson Health in Sidney.

He weighed 8 pounds, 11 ounces, and was 21 3/4 inches long.

He was welcomed home by his brothers, Hayden, 4, and Brody 3, and his sister, Audra, 1.

His maternal grandparents are Darla and Tim Dietz, of Botkins. His paternal grandparents are Jane and Fred Vehorn, of Botkins.

His great-grandparents are Shirley Fullenkamp, Esther Dietz and Donna Vehorn, all of Botkins.

His mother is the former Tara Dietz, of Botkins.
