VANDALIA — Sarah and Doug Stueve, of Vandalia, have announced the birth of a son, Max Curtis Stueve, born March 8, 2017, at 10:28 a.m., in the Kettering Medical Center, in Kettering.

He weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 21 inches long.

He was welcomed home by his sisters, Lauren, 13, and Brooke, 10.

His maternal grandparents are Charlene and Mark Piening, of Montezuma. His paternal grandparents are Diane and Elmer Stueve, of Minster.

His great-grandparents are Eunice Piening, of Minster, Mary Rose, of New Bremen, and Richard C. Monnin, of Russia.

His mother is the former Sarah Piening.
