HILLIARD — Jessica Lynn Yaney and Derek James Dicke, both of Hilliard, have announced their engagement and plans to marry Aug. 6, 2016, in the First Church of New Knoxville.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jodi and Jeff Yaney, of Dayton. She graduated in 2009 from Chaminade Julienne High School, in 2013 from Otterbein University with a Bachelor of Science, and in 2015 from Wheeling Jesuit University with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. She is employed by Saber Healthcare in Hilliard as a physical therapist.

Her fiance is the son of Mike Dicke, of New Bremen, and Lesia and Kurt Arnett, of New Knoxville. He is a 2009 graduate of New Knoxville High School and a 2013 graduate of Otterbein University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science. He is employed by Hilliard Bradley High School, where he coaches freshman boys basketball.
