VERSAILLES — Versailles Health Care Center recently hosted a Grandparents Day celebration.

More than 200 people celebrated the festivities with Susie’s Big Dipper, Ruffles the Clown and the barbershop auartet, Harmony. Harmony performed a remembrance for those lost on Sep. 11. A craft table was also set up for all to create a crafts to commemorate the day.

“Everyone was really happy to be together on such a beautiful day and to be with their families. It was really great to see how much love was at the gathering. There were so many generations present for the event. It was just amazing! The lines for homemade ice cream and balloon art never ended,” said Activity Director Kim Fair.

Kristy Earick, CEO/administrator, added, “It was a beautiful day to honor grandparents and a wonderful chance to thank them for all their love. This celebration was about families enjoying time with each other, from newborn to age 103.”
