SCBDD plans fashion show

SIDNEY — The Shelby County Board of Developmental Disabilities (SCBDD) will host its third annual fashion show, May 6, at 1:30 p.m., in the Cameo Theatre, 304 S. West Ave.

The fashion show is free and open to the public.

Models will be dressed in fashions by Peebles. Hair services will be provided by Village Salon, and Mary Kay Consultants will provide make-up services. There will be door prizes and refreshments after the fashion show.

The event will include 27 models and several guest ushers from all age groups, including the following local celebrities: Sidney Alive Executive Director Amy Breinich; Big Brothers Big Sisters Executive Director Jennifer Bruns; Shelby County Libraries Director Suzanne Cline; Sidney Police Officer Mike McRill; Scarfie and the most valuable pet of the week from the Shelby County Animal Shelter and OACB Community Opportunities Director Scott Marks. Joe Laber, of Classic Hits 98.1 and 1570 WPTW radio will serve as master of ceremonies.

There will be a vendor show following the fashion show in the lower level of the Senior Center. Among the vendors participating will be Mary Kay Cosmetics, Spirit and Hands Art Studio, LuLa Roe Wear and Aromatherapy Oils.
