Hardin-Houston Board of Education
HOUSTON — The Hardin-Houston Board of Education will meet Monday, Feb. 15, at 7 p.m. in the media center.
They will approve monthly financial reports and expenditures for January 2016, and adopt tax rates. They will also adopt the school calendar for 2016-2017 and deal with personnel issues.
Fort Loramie Board of Education
FORT LORAMIE — The Fort Loramie Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m., Monday, Feb. 15, in the media center.
The board will consider appropriation adujustments, a resolution accepting tax rates for 2016-2017, the purchase of classroom furnishings, high school registration handbook revisions, an LED lighting project and an agreement with Midwest Regional Educational Service Center.
Jackson Center Board of Education
JACKSON CENTER — The Jackson Center Board of Education will meet Monday, Feb. 15, at 7 p.m.
They will consider additions and modifications to board policies as recommended by the Ohio School Boards Association. They will also approve the retirement of Susan Elmore and approve the employment of Jay Liles.
They will discuss the building project, including the groundbreaking and the playground. The board will also consider entering in an agreement with OndoMedia in conjunction with the Village of Jackson Center, The Greater Growth Association and the Jackson Township Trustees for the purpose of a documentary production. The board agrees to pay up to $6,000.
Sidney Board of Education
SIDNEY — The Sidney Board of Education will meet on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at 6 p.m.
They will hear a report from the American Legion Americanism and Government Test State Champions, go over the treasurer’s report and accept donations. They will consider resignations and retirements and discuss the hiring of personnel.
Sidney-Shelby County Health Department
SIDNEY — The Board of Health meeting originally scheduled for Feb. 17 has been postponed to Feb. 24 at 7 p.m.
Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services
The Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services will meet Wednesday, Feb. 17, at 6:45 p.m. in the Marianne Helmlinger Board Room, 1100 Wayne St., Suite 4000, Troy. During the meeting the board plans to enter into executive session to discuss purchase of property.
City of Sidney Tree Board
SIDNEY — The city of Sidney Tree Board will meet Thursday, Feb. 18, at 4 p.m. in council chambers.
Items on the agenda include changing the time of the meetings, discussing the 2016 budget, the DP&L grant that has been submitted. Upcoming events include an urban forestry update to city council on April 4, Tree City USA meeting in West Carrollton on April 22; and Arbor Day on April 29. An election of chair and co-chair will also be held.
Jackson Township Zoning Board
JACKSON CENTER — The Jackson Township Zoning Board will meet in special session, Thursday, Feb. 18, at 6:30 p.m. for its annual reorganization meeting.
A quorum was not present at the originally scheduled meeting, Jan. 21.
