SIDNEY — The city of Sidney is issuing a reminder to residents who are planning to hold a garage or yard sale this year.

Signs may not be placed in a public right-of-way (the area between the curb and sidewalk), posted on utility poles or street signs.

Signs may be placed on the property of the sale behind the public right-of-way line.
