ReStore to relocate

TROY — The Habitat ReStore is relocating to a 18,000 sq. ft. facility at 1490 W. Main St., Troy, formerly Super Pets in the Trojan Village Shopping Center.

Relocating the Habitat ReStore to a larger, more visible and accessible location will generate more proceeds, allowing the organization to serve more families in need of affordable housing.

The ReStore is a major revenue source for Habitat for Humanity of Miami and Shelby counties. It is an outlet store that sells new and gently used donated home improvement goods, which are then sold to the public for 50-85 percent less than retail value.

Volunteers are needed to help in the transition from the current location. Interested groups or individuals should contact Habitat at 937-332-3763.

The current ReStore at 150 E. Race St., Troy, will close Friday, May 27.
