BOTKINS — The Botkins Village Council had a short meeting Tuesday night because there weren’t enough members present to vote on anything.

They recognized retiring member of the Botkins Fire Department Ric Van Horn for 31 years of service.

Botkins Village Administrator Ryan Piche announced the bidding for the Edgewood Street Project is now closed. They know who the lowest bidder is, but have to wait for paperwork to go through to award the bid. They will hopefully award it at the next council meeting on July 12.
