Sidney City Council
SIDNEY — A special meeting of the Sidney City Council will be held on Monday, July 18, beginning at 8:15 a.m. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 201 W. Poplar St., Sidney.
The purpose of the special meeting is to enter into an executive session to consider the purchase of property for public purposes.
Sidney City Zoning Board of Appeals
SIDNEY — The Zoning Board of Appeals will meet Monday, July 18, at 4 p.m. in council chambers. They will go over old business, including the request of John and Beverly Bricker, on behalf of Tim and Mary Pat Echemann, to allow an accessory building to be located in the front yard of 1515 Bon Air Circle in the suburban residence district, and for allowance of the accessory structure square footage to exceed the maximum square footage of 1,500-square-foot with a conditional use permit this location, as well as a request for a conditional use permit to allow an accessory structure square footage totalling 1,636-square-foot at this location.
New business will include: the request of Mary Wagner to construct a 6-foot-high privacy fence in the front yard where a maximum 42-inch-high open fence is allowed at 750 Clinton Ave. in the single family residence district. Also, the request of Paul and Beth Ferguson to install a permanent, above-ground pool not located in the rear yard and a 4-foot-high barrier fence at 242 Gemini Drive in the single family residence district.
Sidney City Planning Commission
SIDNEY — The Sidney City Planning Commission will meet on Monday, July 18, at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers. New business will include the request by Choice One Engineering, on behalf of Geise Family Limited Partnership, for the the replat of three parcels to create one new lot located at 1625 Ferguson Court in the general industrial district.
Hardin-Houston Board of Education
HOUSTON — The Hardin-Houston School Board will conduct a monthly meeting on Monday, July 18, 2016, at 7 p.m. in the school media center. The purpose of the meeting will be to approve service agreements, lunch prices, and employment of staff.
Fort Loramie Board of Education
FORT LORAMIE — The Fort Loramie board of Education will meet in regular session, Monday, July 18, at 7 p.m., in the Media Center.
The board will consider fees for the 2016-2017 school year, bids various services and personnel matters.
Anna Board of Education
ANNA — The Anna Local Schools Board of Education will hold a special board meeting on Monday, July 18, at 6 p.m. in room 209.
Governor’s Community Traffic Safety Network of Shelby County
SIDNEY — The Governor’s Community Traffic Safety Network of Shelby County will meet Tuesday, July 19, at 8:30 a.m. at the Sidney Municipal Court, 110 W Court St.
Traffic stats updates will be given by the Sidney Fire Department, State Highway Patrol, Sidney Police Department and Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, while street and highway construction project reports will be given by Ohio Department of Transportation, Shelby County Engineer’s Office and city of Sidney.
The program for the meeting will be about the Sidney Municipal Court’s special programs.
North Central Ohio Solid Waste Management District Board of Directors
BELLEFONTAINE — The Board of Directors of the North Central Ohio Solid Waste Management District will holds its regular quarterly meeting on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Ohio Hi Point Career Center, Room 102A, 2280 State Route 540, Bellefontaine, Ohio.
