SIDNEY — The Sidney City Planning Commission unanimously approved Electro Controls’s replat request Monday evening.

The planning commission only had one item of business to consider with the request by Choice One Engineering, on behalf of Geise Family Limited Partnership, for the the replat of three parcels to create one new lot located at 1625 Ferguson Court in the general industrial district. The unanimous approval excluded Board member Steven Klingler who was absent, but was excused by the board.

The purpose of the replat is to allow for the construction of an addition to the existing Electro Controls building. Although the lot is not the standard rectangular shape, the proposed lot complies with the lot size, width and depth-to-width subdivision regulations and zone code requirements.

An easement specifically for telephone will replace the existing 10-foot utility easement, which will be vacated. New 10-foot and 15-foot utility easements will be added to the perimeter of the lot. Access to the property from St. Marys Avenue will be prohibited on the replat.
