Workers climb to the top of the ornate Peoples Federal Savings and Loan Association Building to remove and replace mortar in the historic structure. The bank was built in 1917 and designed by American architect Louis Henri Sullivan, who was a mentor to Frank Lloyd Wright. Sullivan’s abilities lead him to be called father of skyscrapers” and “father of modernism” according to Wikipedia.
