Scooter crash on I-75; CareFlight called

Emergency workers attend to a male scooter driver after his vehicle flipped into the ditch in the southbound lane of Interstate 75, near mile marker 92, Thursday afternoon. The driver was taken away by CareFlight. The accident occurred about 1:15 p.m. The Ohio State Highway Patrol, Sidney police and firefighters responded to the scene. The cause of the accident is unknown. The identity of the victim and other details about the crash were not available late Thursday afternoon. The crash stopped traffic for a time, but a Highway Patrol dispatcher said about 3:30 p.m. that traffic was beginning to move through the area again.
