WEDNESDAY

-2:41 a.m.: found property. A girl’s purple Magna bike was found at near Lunar Street and Aldrin Avenue and was turned into the police station.

TUESDAY

-10:10 p.m.: warrant. Harley Ludwig, 29, Port Jefferson, was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Miami County and was taken to the Shelby County Jail.

-2:46 p.m.: found property. A purse containing personal paperwork and a box of tools belonging to Lola Brown, 89, at large was found at 426 Franklin Ave. and was turned into the police department.

-8:33 a.m.: theft. Melissa Wooten, 33, 1525 Kenwood Drive, Apt. 2, reported the theft of a book bag and damage to her vehicle’s glove-box door.

Crashes

Martha Slagel, 73, 323 Mulberry Place, was cited with right of way from private drive after a two-vehicle collision on Tuesday at 9:51 a.m.

Slagel pulled out of the drive of U.S. Bank and headed southbound on Wapakoneta Avenue when she failed to see and struck another vehicle that had just pulled out of Sidney Tire on the opposite side of the road that was also headed southbound on Wapakoneta Avenue.

The driver of the other vehicle was Marion Musser, 68, 439 Woodward Way.

WEDNESDAY

-3:59 to 6:32 a.m.: medical. Crews responded to two calls.

TUESDAY

-1:22 to 11:42 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to seven calls.
