SIDNEY — In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, the Sidney Daily News will not be publishing a newspaper on Thursday, Nov. 24. The office will be closed Thursday and will reopen at 8 a.m. Friday.

Wednesday’s edition will include the Black Friday ads. Because of the added value, the cost of the newspaper will be $1.25.

A convenient drive-thru will be set up at the SDN office on Wednesday for people to purchase their newspaper without getting out of their car. The drive-thru will open at 8 a.m. and remain open until the newspapers are sold out.

The deadline for obituaries for the Wednesday, Nov. 23, newspaper is noon on Tuesday, Nov. 22 because of early deadlines.

Any obituary received after noon on Tuesday will be placed online and published in our Friday, Nov. 25, newspaper.

The deadline for Friday’s paper is 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 24.
