JACKSON CENTER — The village of Jackson Center will celebrate Christmas in the Village on Sunday, Dec. 4 with many activities.

There will be a free community meal at Jackson Center United Methodist Church from 4:30-6:30 p.m., with doors opening at 4:15 p.m. The meal will be provided by Emmanuel Lutheran, Grace Lutheran, Maplewood Methodist, St. Lawrence Catholic, St. Jacobs Church, and Jackson Center United Methodist.

At 5:30 p.m. there will be a Christmas tree lighting and caroling. That’s when Santa will arrive.

From 6-8 p.m. there will be a celebration at the firehouse. This is your opportunity to bring canned goods to donate to the Fish Pond Food Pantry.

During the celebration there will be cookies and hot cocoa, a wooden nativity with live animals in the parking lot behind the bank, pictures with Santa, children’s crafts for all age groups, reindeer food, and horse drawn wagon rides.

Santa will be available to take photos with, if you bring your own camera. And stationary will be on hand to write Santa letters to put into a mailbox.
