BOTKINS — St Paul’s Lutheran Church in Botkins will welcome youth from the community for an after school program “Gaming with God” starting Jan. 19.

The after school youth program is in it’s second year, and received grant money this year from The Louise Sheets Memorial Fund through the Community Fund.

Youth will be walked over to the church upon school dismissal. The program will go until 4:30 p.m., and parents are asked to pick their children up by 5 p.m.

The program is open to all youths from first grade to sixth grade. They will have an opening prayer, a light snack, then play games and give out prizes.

The dates for the program are every third Thursday of each month in the winter/spring: Jan. 19, Feb. 16, March 16, and April 20.

Parents are asked to send permission slips to school monthly giving consent for their students to walk to the church after school. For questions calls the church at 937-693-3261.
