Jackson Center Board of Education

JACKSON CENTER – The Jackson Center Local Schools Board of Education will meet Monday, Feb. 20, at 7 p.m. Prior to the meeting, a tour of the building will be held at 6:15 p.m.

Items on the agenda include approval of an amendment for phase 2 of the abatement process; renewal and revisions of the district’s wellness plan; policy for lunch charges; and executive session to discuss employment of public employees. The board will also be updated on on the testing schedule, building project, athletic boosters and calendar events.

H-H Board of Education

HOUSTON — The Hardin-Houston Local School District Board of Education will meet Monday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. in the media center.

Items on the agenda include adopting the tax rates for the district and the school calendar. Personnel issues will also be discussed.

Sidney City Schools Board of Education

SIDNEY — Sidney City Schools Board of Education will meet Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 6 p.m. at the board office.

Presentations to the board include recognition of Carly Drury, recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award; NWEA MAP presentation by Brooke Gessler, curriculum director, and staff members Dan Barnes, Nikki Inman, Bill Rippey and Katie Harbaugh; improvement projects update by Jerry Harmon, business manager; and Neola and OSBA board policies by Superintendent John Scheu and Treasurer Mike Watkins.

Other items on the agenda include accepting donations for the Board/Administration Scholarship Fund; approving school security substitutes; approving a full-time floating substitute teacher; approving the installation of two catch basins and drain pipes at Northwood School; approving roof repair/maintenance at Sidney High School and Lowell Elementary School; approve retirements and hiring personnel for the district.
