Sidney Zoning Board of Appeals

SIDNEY —The Sidney Zoning Board of Appeals will meet on Monday, March 20, at 4 p.m. in council chambers.

The board will conduct a four month review of the Houston Owens request of a conditional use permit for outdoor storage at 1135 Wapakoneta Avenue in the community business district.

The board will also consider the request of Brian’s Towing & Recovery for a conditional use permit for outdoor storage at 1283 Wapakoneta Avenue in the community business district; and the request of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ for a variance to construct an accessory building in the side yard, and a request for a conditional use permit for an accessory structure square footage over 1,00 square feet per section at 707 N. Ohio Ave. in the single and two-family residence district.

Sidney City Council

SIDNEY — The Sidney City Council will meet for a special meeting on Monday, March 20, at 5:30 p.m. in council chambers in the Municipal Building.

The purpose of the meeting is to hold an executive session to consider the purchase of property for public purposes and for pending or imminent court action.

Sidney City Planning Commission

SIDNEY — The Sidney City Planning Commission will meet on Monday, March 20, at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers.

There will be a discussion on the city’s five year comprehensive plan.

Also, the commission will consider the request of Choice One Engineering on behalf of Peter and Gail Frantz for the replat of one lot to create two new lots at the southern terminus of University Drive and west of Doorley Road in the single family and multi-family residence districts.

Shelby County Board of Elections

SIDNEY — The Shelby County Board of Elections will meet at 7:30 a.m., Monday, March 20.

The board will discuss e-poll books, voting booths and IT services.

District Health Advisory Council of Sidney-Shelby County

SIDNEY — The annual meeting of the District Health Advisory Council of Sidney-Shelby County will be at 6:30 p.m., Monday, March 20, in the office of the Sidney-Shelby County Health Department, 202 W. Poplar St.

The council will elect officers and hear the annual health department report.

Hardin-Houston School Board of Education

HOUSTON — The Hardin-Houston Local School District’s Board of Education will meet Monday, March 20, at 7 p.m. in regular session in the media center.

The agenda includes approving monthly financial reports and expenditures for February 2017 and personnel items.

Fort Loramie Board of Education

FORT LORAMIE — The Fort Loramie Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m., Monday, March 20, in the media center.

The board will consider board policies, an enterprise agreement resolution, the workers compensation group plan, tax rates for 2017-2018, a supplemental contract for 2016-2017 and the resignation of supplemental positions.

Jackson Center Board of Education

JACKSON CENTER — The Jackson Center Board of Education will meet in regular session at 7 p.m., Monday, March 20.

Before the meeting, board members will take a tour of the new building, beginning at 6:15 p.m.

During the meeting, the board will accept donations, consider a memorandum of understanding with the Shelby County Board of Developmental Disabilities, consider several proposed student field trips and consider some employee matters. An executive session is planned to consider employment of a public employee.

Miami Conservancy District Board of Directors

DAYTON — The Board of Directors of the Miami Conservancy District and its subdistricts will meet Wednesday, March 22, at 12:30 p.m. at the Miami Conservancy District office, 38 E. Monument Ave., Dayton.
