CELINA — The sheriffs of two counties are joining forces in the battle against drugs.

Auglaize County Sheriff Allen Solomon and Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey will host a drug prevention/addiction symposium on Saturday, April 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Wright State University’s Dicke Center, 7600 State Route 703, Celina.

Solomon and Grey have joined a partnership with Grand Lake Health Systems to educate the community on the dangers that lurk in the counties. The symposium, which is intended for adults only, will include presentations by doctors, mental health professionals and law enforcement officials.

A display will be on hand that will allow parents to know what to look for and ways to get help for children who may be facing addiction.

An RSVP is requested byt not required. RSVPs can be sent to Jan Logan, 419-394-3387, ext. 4042 or emailed to [email protected].
