SIDNEY — Susan and Ryan Shaffer, of Sidney, have announced the birth of a daughter, Leah June Shaffer, born June 15, 2017, at 9:49 p.m., in the Copeland-Emerson Family Birth Center at Wilson Health.

She weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces, and was 19 1/2 inches long.

She was welcomed home by her sister, Emma Shaffer, 3.

Her maternal grandparents are Deb and Doug Hunter, of Sidney. Her paternal grandparents are Patti and Michael Shaffer, of Sidney.

Her great-grandparents are Sarah Shaffer, of Sidney, and Kenneth Hunter, of St. Marys.

Her mother is the former Susan Hunter, of Sidney.
