Habitat ReStore to move

TROY — Habitat for Humanity of Miami & Shelby Counties has announced that its Habitat ReStore is relocating to an 18,000-square foot facility at 1490 W. Main St., Troy.

Relocating the Habitat ReStore to a larger, more visible and accessible location will enable the organization to generate more proceeds to serve more families in need of affordable housing.

The ReStore is a major revenue source for HFHMSCO. It is an outlet store that sells new and gently used, donated, home improvement goods for 50-85 percent less than retail value.

The net proceeds earned by the Restore are undesignated funds which are used for both program and administrative expenses.

Volunteers are needed to assist in the move. To participate, call 937-332-3763.
