Creative Marketing Strategies

John Dunlap, former president of Direct Graphics, founded Creative Marketing Strategies in April of 2001. The core values of the company are to provide creative solutions to marketing challenges, whether it is an interruptive design, a well-targeted mailing campaign, an informational annual report or product-moving advertising. Our client base has historically been Shelby County forward, however our clients exist in the surrounding tri-state region and throughout Ohio.

Since 2001, the industry has seen changes in the marketing arena; the most outstanding is the impact of the Internet and social media. However, great design and strategic thinking are always in demand and CMS has continued to excel by delivering thought provoking print and digital solutions to our clients, large and small. We continue to develop and create corporate identities, collateral material, trade show displays, point of purchase displays, websites and newsletters. Direct mail is also alive and well, and CMS routinely delivers turn-key solutions for marketing solutions that need to target specific demographics over large areas.

CMS changed ownership in 2013 when long-time employee and designer, Mary Beth Monnier bought the company. Marci Johnson was retained as Art Director, and Tonnie Hovey was added to the design team in 2015. CMS continues to find solutions to our clients’ marketing needs in a timely fashion with a flair for creativity.
