Sidney — Community Insurance Group announced a 23 percent revenue growth in 2016, the largest increase in the company’s 22-year history. Jeff Sargeant, president, attributes his agency’s success to an investment in people, partnerships, and technology.
“The expansion of our sales and service teams further strengthens our ability to exceed the needs of our clients,” said Sargeant. “Their dedication and experience will help propel us forward in the New Year.” In addition to new Executive VP of Sales, Mick McClurg, the company added two Producers and several support associates to help fuel its growing personal and commercial lines departments.
The company has also shown an increased commitment to their associates in 2016 and 2017 by improving benefit packages, adding new skilled positions and investing in a “Career Track” program to help each associate advance educationally in their professional field.

The insurance industry has traditionally been a late adopter of technology, but Community Insurance Group has positioned itself ahead of the curve. In 2017, the company will introduce a new client-facing risk management portal, a new self-service website, and a new mobile app that will be available for both iPhone and Android platforms.
