THURSDAY

-9:20 p.m.: drug paraphernalia. A marijuana grinder was located at 119 W. Dallas St., and removed for disposal.

-8:23 p.m.: contempt. Police arrested Danny Bryant, 36, 213 E. North St., on an active warrant.

-11:57 a.m.: found property. A woman’s ring was found in the 1000 block of Whipp Road and turned in at the Sidney Police Department.

-2:19 a.m.: criminal damaging. Jesse White, 27, 443 Jefferson St., reported someone threw a brick through the front window of his house.

-12:22 a.m.: theft. James Demars, 74, 1021 Riverbend Blvd., reported someone took his pump-action .22-caliber rifle, the case for it, and miscellaneous ammunition from his residence.

WEDNESDAY

-5:01 p.m.: found property. A Huffy blue, white and black bicycle was found in the area of 210 S. Wagner Ave., and turned into police.

-4:56 p.m.: theft. The Family Dollar on Wapakoneta Avenue reported the theft of merchandise from the store.

-4:03 p.m.: theft. Billie Jean Yohannes, 40, 301 Enterprise Ave., reported the theft of property and medications.

-2:10 p.m.: theft. Dorothy Pequignot, 91, 5223 Logan-Shelby Road, Quincy, reported the theft of a wallet, money, driver’s license, and Social Security card.

-1:45 p.m.: assault. Lemone Upkins, 46, 809 Arrowhead Drive Apt. B, reported a suspect got upset with him, assaulted him and damaged his gold necklace.

-9:43 a.m.: breaking and entering. Edward Middlemiss, 38, 426 S. Ohio Ave., reported the theft of an air compressor out of his garage.

-9:37 a.m.: theft. Jeffrey Hoying, 44, of Fort Recovery, reported the theft of $300.

-7:45 a.m.: theft. Traci Milanese, 39, 232 Doering St., reported a theft from inside her vehicle and criminal damaging to the outside of it. Total cost of stolen items and damage estimated at $4,600.

Accidents

Victoria Spaugy, 55, 1039 N. Main Ave., was cited for improper lane change after an accident on Wednesday at 5:36 p.m.

Spaugy was traveling southbound on Wapakoneta Avenue when she began to change lanes from the right lane to the left lane, striking a vehicle that was traveling in the left lane directly beside her.

The driver of the other vehicle was Stacey Smith, 31, 140 Northwood Drive, Apt. 322.

• Stephen Prudhomme, 53, of St. Paris, was cited for assured clear distance ahead after an accident on Wednesday at 12:56 p.m.

Prudhomme was exiting Interstate 75 onto state Route 47 in the right lane when he failed to stop and struck a car in the rear that was waiting to turn right.

The driver of the other vehicle was Tristan Lang, 35, of Fletcher.

• Chelsea Lewis, 26, 715 S. Miami Ave., was cited for assured clear distance ahead after an accident on Tuesday at 7:57 p.m.

Lewis was traveling north on County Road 25A when a vehicle in front of her slowed down to turn right onto Children’s Home Road. Lewis failed to slow down enough, causing the vehicles to collide.

The driver of the other vehicle was Jordan Harp, 20, 226 Hillcrest Court.

• Raymond Gates, 77, 1020 Nutmeg Lane, was cited for right of way when turning left after an accident on Tuesday at 6:51 p.m.

Gates was traveling westbound on state Route 47 when he attempted to turn left onto Vandemark Road. He turned in front of a vehicle traveling eastbound on state Route 47 causing an accident. Both drivers said they had a green light. A witness said the green light was for the eastbound lane of travel.

The driver of the other vehicle was Ian Robbins, 39, of Troy.

• Kristen Berlekamp, 55, 1301 Port Jefferson Road, was cited for improper backing after an accident on Monday at 2:35 p.m.

Berlekamp was parked in front of the U.S. post office on Ohio Avenue. As she was backing out of the parking spot, she struck a car traveling southbound on Ohio Avenue, causing minor damage to both vehicles.

The driver of the other vehicle was Earl Muir, 77, 14195 Charm Hill Drive.

• Stephanie Courtillot, 28, 827 Fair Road, was cited for assured clear distance ahead after an accident on Monday at 11:44 a.m.

Courtillot and the other vehicle were both traveling northbound on Vandemark Road at Campbell Road, waiting in traffic at the traffic light. Courtillot stated she thought traffic started moving and ran into the rear end of the vehicle in front of her.

The driver of the other vehicle was David Burns, 54, 655 Greenacre St.

-4:04 to 6:19 a.m.: Medics responded to two calls.

THURSDAY

-9:18 p.m.: Medics responded to a call.

-7:52 p.m.: Crews responded to an accident at Fourth Avenue and Court Street. No injuries.

-2:11 a.m. to 4:29 p.m.: Medics responded to seven calls.

WEDNESDAY

-5:51 to 8:31 p.m.: Medics responded to two calls.

-3:45 p.m.: Crews responded to 700 Stillwater Road for mutual aid to Houston for a fire investigation.

-2:44 p.m.: Medics responded to a call.

-1:02 p.m.: Crews responded to the 600 block of Park Street for a carbon monoxide investigation. None detected.

-12:13 to 12:41 p.m.: Medics responded to two calls.
