THURSDAY

-11:50 p.m.: criminal damaging. Susan Rupert, 34, 302 S. Walnut Ave., reported someone smashed a window on her residence.

-8:40 p.m.: theft. Ellen May, 58, 511 Plum Ridge Trail, reported fraudulent charges made to her Macy’s Credit Card.

-7:37 p.m.: theft. Rebecca Cummins, 44, 328 S. Wilkinson Ave., reported she was the victim of an Internet scam.

-7:28 p.m.: theft. Michael Boerger, 66, 1326 Hancock St., reported his credit card information was stolen and fraudulent charges were made.

-1:28 p.m.: theft. Tommy Henderson, 59, 609 S. Ohio Ave., reported someone stole a homemade trailer smoker off his trailer while it was parked at Auto Bots Auto Repair.

-1:08 p.m.: theft. It was reported that a vehicle belonging to Bonnie Stockstill, 53, 733 Chestnut Ave., was entered and items were stolen. Items taken included a wallet and it’s contents, a CD case and assorted CD’s.

Accidents

Michael Kies, 32, 705 N. Main Ave., was cited for driving under suspension and running a red light after an accident on Thursday at 7:23 a.m.

Kies was traveling northbound on South Main Avenue at East South Street when he failed to stop at the stop light hitting a vehicle that was traveling eastbound on South Street. Kies fled from the scene and was located later after a short investigation.

The driver of the other vehicle was Larry O’Quinn, 61, 721 Taft St.

• Kara Gillman, 17, 18487 state Route 706, was cited for assured clear distance ahead after an accident on Wednesday at 3:46 p.m.

Gillman was traveling eastbound on state Route 29 when she failed to stop in time behind a vehicle that was stopped in traffic and struck it in the rear.

The driver of the other vehicle was Austin Doak, 18, 21563 Tawawa St.

Fire, rescue

FRIDAY

-3:04 to 5:16 a.m.: Medics responded to two calls.

THURSDAY

-4:18 to 11:34 p.m.: Medics responded to five calls.

-4:01 p.m.: Crews responded to the 500 block of Gearhart Road for a service call.

-11:52 a.m.: Medics responded to a call.

-11:28 a.m.: Crews responded to the 2000 block of Wapakoneta Avenue for an odor of natural gas inside the home. No problem was found.
