TUESDAY

-1:17 a.m.: criminal mischief. It was reported the vehicle belonging to Luis Olivares, 24, 821 Johnson Drive, was egged at his residence.

MONDAY

-9:23 p.m.: warrant. Norro Perdue, 44, Bellefontaine, was arrested on an active warrant out of Union City.

-6:24 p.m.: warrant. Brandon Swan, 30, at large, was arrested on a two felony warrants.

-2:16 p.m.: theft. Sierra Palacios, 20, 324 Shelby St., reported the theft her wallet containing $300, a credit card and other miscellaneous personal documents between June 26 and June 28.

-10:16 a.m.: domestic violence. Denario Price 30, 533 S. Ohio Ave., was arrested for assaulting a juvenile victim.

-10:47 a.m.: found property. A brown wallet containing miscellaneous paperwork belonging to Nikita Nunez, of Kentucky, was found and turned into the police department.

MONDAY

-6:22 a.m.: contempt. Jonathon Morsey, 23, 12222 Sidney-Freyburg Road, was arrested on an active warrant.

SUNDAY

-9:58 p.m.: theft. Hulen Clark, 37, 792 E. Mason Road, reported the theft of several different prescription medications from his vehicle at Auto Zone on Michigan Street.

-9:46 p.m.: theft. Randy Hurst, 54, 433 E. Poplar St., reported the theft of Apple IPhone 5 from his residence.

-4:22 p.m.: receiving stolen property. Robert Tootle Jr., 26, Dayton, was arrested for receiving the stolen property of a cell phone, charger, adapter and head phones after police responded to a private property accident at Walmart on Michigan Street.

-9:15 a.m.: criminal damaging. Jeffery Pollard, 46, 424 E. Robinwood St., reported someone broke the rear windshield and caved in the top of his Honda Civic.

-2:07 a.m.: assault. Police are investigating the assault of Gerald Ely, 49, 306 New St., who received minor scrapes on his knees, and also found an Apple IPhone at his residence. Police are attempting to identify suspects.

-1:54 a.m.: assault. Police are investigating the assaults of Benjamin Hamilton, 35, who received minor facial cuts, and of Amanda Hamilton, 25, both of 209 Pomeroy St., who received a minor on lip/mouth by a suspect in the 200 block of Pomeroy Avenue.

SATURDAY

-7:54 p.m.: disorderly conduct. Jerry Walls, 52, at large, was arrested for being intoxicated creating a risk of harm and open container.

-7:01 p.m.: criminal damaging. Danielle Elmore, 41, 805 Arrowhead Drive, Apt. K, was arrested after Arrowhead Apartments on Arrowhead Drive reported she damaged a window of her apartment. She was also charged with disorderly conduct fighting or threatening.

-2:25 p.m.: aggravated menacing. Joshua Davis, 24, 834 Third Ave., was arrested for aggravated menacing and interference with custody.

-12:27 p.m.: found property. A pair of metal framed eye glasses was found at the “Kids Around The Square” event on the court house lawn and was turned into police department.

-10:23 a.m.: identity theft. Larry Young, 71, 405 Ironwood Ave., reported someone used his identity to open an account and stole $1,354.04 between July 1, 2013 and June 25, 2016.

-8:25 a.m.: criminal mischief. Leslie Wallace, 58, 717 Marilyn Drive, reported someone egged her van overnight.

FRIDAY

-10:34 p.m.: criminal mischief. Jonathan Cotterman, 33, 1842 Robert Place, reported someone egged his car.

-10:32 p.m.: found property. A boy’s Next bicycle was found in the roadway of the 200 block of West North Street. The bike was placed in the police department garage.

-6:48 p.m.: theft. Menards on Lester Avenue reported the theft of a DIG wireless add-on camera and DIG wireless SEC system camera.

-5:59 p.m.: theft. Sierra Harris, 29, 2626 Terryhawk Drive, was arrested for theft, and possession of drugs and sell, purchase distribute or deliver dangerous drugs after Marathon on East North Street reported the theft of a pair of sunglasses.

-6:09 a.m.: burglary. Kathryn Gossard, 70, 311 W. Parkwood St., reported she had her Chase bank card taken without her permission.

THURSDAY

-4:12 p.m.: safe keeping. Four pistols were placed into evidence for safe keeping after Jason Switzer, 36, 11 Knollwood Lane reported them.

Accidents

Mary Carpenter, 43, 2338 Aldrin Drive, was cited with driving right side of road after an accident on at Monday at 3:22 p.m.

Carpenter was traveling southbound in the 600 block of Buckeye Avenue when she entered some curves and went to the left side of the road and hit another vehicle head-on that was traveling northbound on Buckeye Avenue.

The driver of the other vehicle was Timberlea Heath, 51, 6130 Jackson Road.

• Robert Tootle, 26, of Dayton, was arrested for receiving stolen property after an accident on Sunday at 4:22 p.m.

Tootle was traveling southbound through the parking lot of Walmart on Michigan Street in a stolen vehicle when he hit two other unoccupied parked vehicles as he attempted to pull into a parking spot. He then fled the scene of foot.

The owner of the stolen vehicle is Wendy Beck, of Vandalia. The owners of the other vehicles are Dareen Thompson, 722 Grand St., and Shawn Ewing, of Botkins

• Craig Brown, 43, 808 Clinton Ave., was cited with improper backing after an accident on Sunday at 9:56 a.m.

Brown was headed northbound and pulled over on Clinton Avenue after he was signaled to pull over for police to conduct a traffic stop. Brown was pulled over to the right and stopped and then backed up into the cruiser stopped behind him causing minor damage to both vehicles.

Just prior to this collision at 9:28 a.m. Brown was traveling northbound near 527 Linden Ave. when he went off the right side of the road and hit a guardrail. He stopped then fled the scene. Brown was also cited with failure to control from this accident and then arrested for OVI and a hit skip.

The driver of the other vehicle was Park Ranger Justin Aselage, 26, 234 W. Court St.

• John O’Reilly, 57, 426 E. Court St., was cited with assured clear distance ahead after an accident on Sunday at 8:04 a.m.

O’Reilly was headed southbound approaching the traffic light on Folkerth Avenue at Michigan Street when he hit the back of another vehicle that was stopped at the light in front of him.

The driver of the other vehicle was Lindsey Elliott, 22, 255 Harvard Ave.

• Tina Herring, 30, 825 Clinton Ave., was cited with right of way from private drive after an accident on Saturday at 3:09 p.m.

Herring was pulling out the parking lot of The Spot on West Court Street when she hit another vehicle stopped in the westbound lane on West Court Street and waiting to turn southbound into the parking lot of The Spot.

The driver of the other vehicle was Adam Beaver, 27, 10964 Comanche Drive.

• James Martin, 18, 10767 Schenk Road was cited with failure to yield after an accident on Friday at 4:44 p.m.

Martin pulled out from a private drive on state Route 29 in front of another vehicle traveling westbound on state Route 29. The driver of the other vehicle said she had arm pain but refused to be seen.

The driver of the other vehicle was Kathy McAlexander, 63, of Rosewood.

• Lindsey Roof, 25, Quincy, was cited with starting and backing vehicles after an accident on Friday at 3:17 p.m.

Roof backed out of a driveway on Morris Avenue and struck an unoccupied parked vehicle on the street. Roof left the area after the collision.

The owner of the other vehicle is Amber Ward, 1217 Morris Ave.

TUESDAY

-1:19 to 8:19 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to six calls.

MONDAY

-6:54 to 11:42 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to six calls.

-6:53 p.m.: spill. Crews was dispatched to Thompson Schiff and Mason on the report of a spill from an auto accident.

-3:26 to 5:06 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to two calls.

-2:31 p.m.: medical. Medics responded for mutual aid for an auto accident.

-11:51 a.m. to 1:21 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to two calls.

-11:14 a.m.: fire. Crews responded to 1840 Shawnee Drive for public assistance.

-10:11 to 11:01 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to three calls.

-8:41 a.m.: fire. Crews were dispatched to mile-marker 1265 Fourth Ave. on the report of a general fire alarm. Odor of smoke was detected in the building but they were unable to locate the problem.

-8:21 a.m. to 10:09 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to seven calls.

-6:45 a.m.: fire. Crews were dispatched to the 500 block of South Ohio Ave. on the report of a structure fire.

-1:37 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to a call.

SUNDAY

-7:33 p.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched to the 800 block of Arrowhead Drive on the report of an open burn.

-5:44 p.m.: fire. Crews were dispatched to the 700 block of North West Avenue on the report of a stove fire.

-3:31 p.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched to the 400 block of East Court Street on the report of an open burn.

-7:19 a.m. to 5:14 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to eight calls.
