THURSDAY

-3:18 a.m.: assault. Clarissa Amerine, 29, 134 Pike St., reported she was assaulted at her residence. A warrant is being requested for the assault.

-12:04 a.m.: disorderly conduct. Christian Waldroop, 22, 729 Arrowhead Drive, Apt. E, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

WEDNESDAY

-11:41 p.m.: open container. Linda Miller, 46, Union, was arrested for an open container.

-5:36 p.m.: criminal damaging. Cassandra Harris, 33, 752 Countryside Lane, Apt. 4, reported someone broke the sliding glass door to her residence while she was gone.

-9:49 a.m.: theft. Carrie Hammersley, 42, Middle Point, reported someone entered her unlocked vehicle at Wilson Health on Michigan Street and stole her Apple IPhone 5.

-7:26 a.m.: theft. Kroger Fuel on Michigan Street reported the theft of $20 in gasoline by an olive green Ford truck with Michigan plates. The vehicle was not located.

Accidents

Edwin Reed, 67, 626 E. Russell Road, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after an accident on Wednesday at 2:20 p.m.

Reed was traveling eastbound on West Russell Road when he hit another vehicle stopped in front of him that was attempting to turn left.

The driver of the other vehicle was Kayla Curlis, 19, 1785 Port Jefferson Road.

THURSDAY

-1:02 to 3:56 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to two calls.

WEDNESDAY

-11:41 p.m.: fire. Crews were dispatched for an outside trash fire.

-7:07 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to a canceled medic call.

-6:37 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to a call.

-2:20 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to the report of an auto accident.

-11:32 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to a call.

-11:23 a.m.: fire. Crews responded to the report of an open burn.

Sidney Police Department responded to a two-vehicle accident on Michigan Street in front of Arby’s at noon on Thursday. One person was taken to the hospital with a cut to the head.
