In Municipal Court Thursday, Kayla E. Sherman, 26, 210 Mary St., Botkins, was fined $70 and $105 costs for speeding. Judge Duane Goettemoeller presided.

In Municipal Court Wednesday, assigned Judge John L. Ross fined Andrea F. Russell, 22, 502 S. West Ave., $100 and $155 costs and sentenced her to 60 days in jail for abandoning animals. Russell also was ordered to make restitution. Russell was fined $200 and $113 costs, sentenced to 62 days in jail, and ordered to make restitution for receiving stolen property.

• Cecil H. Swiger, 91, 17521 State Route 119, Anna, speeding, $30 fine and $105 costs.

• Brianna Thornton, 29, 604 S. Miami Ave., trafficking in drugs and possessing criminal tools, waived preliminary hearing, bound over to Shelby County Common Pleas Court.
