THURSDAY

-2:54 a.m.: driving under the influence. Leslie Strand, 40, 333 Fourth Ave., was arrested for OVI and a probation violation.

WEDNESDAY

-8:49 p.m.: theft. Shelly Swiger, 38, 620 Arrowhead Drive, reported someone took her sons’s bikes out of the yard overnight.

-8:15 p.m.: theft. James Reynolds, 67, 356 Maple St., reported someone stole $35, three vehicles’ registrations, a flashlight and a book containing insurance cards out of his vehicle.

-4:30 p.m.: theft. Joyce Bertsch, 59, 804 Spruce Ave., reported someone opened a credit card account in her name sometime in the last year.

-3:38 a.m.: theft. John Burnside, 64, 218 S. Miami Ave., reported someone took one of his garage signs from outside of his garage door.

-8:44 a.m.: warrant. Kasey Beaucamp III, 24, 307 E. Ruth St., was served a parking summons for prohibited standing or parking places.

TUESDAY

-1:56 p.m.: theft. Michael Bowman, 50, was arrested for theft after Buckeye Ford on Michigan Avenue reported an employee was using their company fuel account for his personal vehicle.

Accidents

Leslie Strand, 40, 333 Fourth Ave., was cited with improper backing after an accident on Thursday at 3:33 a.m.

Strand was attempting to back up when she hit another vehicle parked on Old Vandemark Road.

The owner of the parked vehicle is Capital Electric Line Building, of Riverside, MO.

• Lori Knupp, 56, 17707 McClosky School Road, was cited with right a way private drive after an accident on Wednesday at 5:15 p.m.

Knupp was pulling out of U.S. Bank on Wapakoneta Avenue and was attempting to turn left when she failed to yield and struck another vehicle traveling southbound on Wapakoneta Avenue.

The driver of the other vehicle was Ashtin Boroff, 22, 325 Forest Ave.

• Brett Sutherly, 56, 1835 Glenn Place, was cited with obedience to traffic control devices after an accident on Wednesday at 5:11 p.m.

Sutherly was headed southbound and stopped at the red light at West Court Street on North West Avenue and as he attempted to make a right hand turn on red onto West Court Street he hit Cody Bryant, 23, 225 W. South St., who was traveling eastbound on a bicycle on the crosswalk.

• Brian Wright, 40, DeGraff, was cited with driving within lanes after an accident on Wednesday at 4:47 p.m.

Wright was traveling southwest on Riverside Drive when he told police he fell asleep and went left of center and struck another vehicle traveling northeast.

The driver of the other vehicle is Timothy Cook, 33, of Huntsville.

Fire, rescue

THURSDAY

-9:10 a.m.: medical. Firefighters were dispatched on the report of an automobile accident.

-1:12 to 8:55 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to four calls.

WEDNESDAY

-3:01 to 3:42 p.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched for two cancelled fire alarms.

-10:19 a.m. to 9:57 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to seven calls.

The driver of a truck was transported by Sidney Medics to Wilson Health with minor injuries after falling aleep at the wheel and rolling his vehicle when traveling northbound on the 92 exit of Interstate 75 at 9:10 a.m. on Thursday. The Piqua Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
