TUESDAY

-11:14 a.m.: theft. Deputies were dispatched to 3993 Redmond Road in Loramie Township on a report money was scammed from an account.

MONDAY

-7:54 p.m.: investigative complaint. Deputies were dispatched to 118 E. Main St. in Loramie Township on the report of a possible scam.

-2:47 p.m.: vandalism. Deputies were dispatched to 6988 Holeton Road in Loramie Township on the report of a vehicle doing doughnuts around the barn on the property the night before.

-1:54 p.m.: theft. Deputies were dispatched to 4091 Hardin Wapakoneta Road in Washington Township on the report of theft of prescription drugs.

-1:17 p.m.: investigative complaint. Deputies were dispatched to Buschur’s Market on East Main Street in Loramie Township on the report of a male who used a stolen check at the store.

SUNDAY

-10:05 p.m.: theft. Deputies were dispatched to 21975 Miami Shelby Road in Green Township on the report of the theft of money.

-9:46 p.m.: assault. Deputies were dispatched to the 1100 block of Hilltop Avenue in Clinton Township on the report of an assault.

-3:43 p.m.: theft. Deputies were dispatched to Family Dollar on East Main Street on the report of the theft of a tablet.

-8:42 a.m.: property damage accident. Deputies were dispatched to the 11000 block of state Route 364 in McLean Township on the report of a car in a cornfield.

SATURDAY

-8:16 p.m.: criminal damaging. Kayla J. Michael, 5963 Hardin Wapakoneta Road, Sidney, reported someone broke out the back window of her vehicle. Deputies found a beer bottle at the scene and took it as evidence.

-5:29 p.m.: trespassing. Deputies were dispatched to the 300 block of West Main Street in Franklin Township on the report of a man putting coins on the tracks.

-9:59 a.m.: criminal damaging. Bonnie Loraine, 10673 Schenk Road, reported someone threw a brick through the back window of her truck overnight.

-8 a.m.: criminal damaging. Benjamin J. Goubeaux, 4080 Simon Road, Russia, reported someone cracked the window on his vehicle overnight.

FRIDAY

-5:15 p.m.: burglary. David E. Nichols, 19788 Herring Road, Sidney, reported someone broke into his residence and allegedly took two televisions and a Verizon hot spot. The items were valued at $756.54.

MONDAY

-9:12 p.m.: assault. Jackson Center Police were dispatched to the 502 Jackson St. in Jackson Township on the report of an assault.

-6:18 p.m.: vandalism. Fort Loramie Police were dispatched PSG Truck Van and Auto in McLean Township on the report of vandalism.

-8:29 a.m.: theft. Anna Police were dispatched to Speedway on East Main Street on the report of a theft.

SUNDAY

-3:52 p.m.: prowlers. Fort Loramie Police were dispatched to 560 Greenback Road in McLean Township on the report of someone who came to the residence the night before and rang the doorbell.

-9:09 a.m.: vandalism. Fort Loramie Police were dispatched 450 Greenback Road in McLean Township on the report of a vandalized vehicle.

Accidents

Ryan L. Roser, 42, 225 Robb St., Apt. A, Jackson Center, was transported to Wilson Health by Houston Rescue following a motorcycle accident Saturday at 1:32 p.m.

According to the report, Roser was traveling south on state Route 66 and had just passed Houston Road. The motorcycle went off the right side of the road and Roser was not able to get it back onto the roadway. It struck a mailbox at 3131 State Route 66.

Roser was ejected from the motorcycle. The motorcycle continued to slide on its side until it came to a stop.

• Gabrel Seth Burton, 17, of Sidney, was southbound on County Road 25A Saturday at 12:37 p.m. when he attempted to turn east onto McCloskey School Road. The vehicle went off the right side of the road and struck a street sign causing damage to the sign.

His vehicle sustained moderate damage.

• Deputies are investigating a two-vehicle accident Saturday at 12:14 p.m. at the intersection of Kuther and Russell roads.

Anne M. Barhorst, 57, of 230 New St., Sidney, was in the northbound lane of Kuther Road and stopped at the stop sign. Jason Levi Gehret, 30, of 7761 Cardo Road, Sidney, was in the eastbound lane of Russell Road stopped at the stop sign.

Both drivers stated they had arrived at the intersection before their other one. Both drivers proceeded into the intersection, striking one another.

Barhorst’s vehicle was disabled in the accident and towed from the scene. Gehret’s vehicle sustained moderate damage.

• Matthew R. Miller, 26. of Troy, was cited for failure to control following an accident Friday at 11:02 p.m.

Miller was westbound in the 900 block of Cisco Road when he failed to negotiate a left hand curve. The vehicle went off the right side of the road, striking a fence owned by Michael Stark, 9509 Cisco Road, Sidney.

Miller’s vehicle was disabled in the accident and towed from the scene.

• Aubrey Schulze, 17, 884 Crescent Drive, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after an accident on Friday at 12:55 p.m.

Schulze was traveling eastbound on Riverside Drive as she approached the vehicle in front her stopped to turn north onto Port Jefferson Road and she failed stop and hit the vehicle in the rear, knocking it from the roadway.

The driver of the other vehicle was Alix Grieshop, 16, 2618 Spearhead Court. Both drivers were transported by Sidney Medics to Wilson Health.

• Ethyl Beam was transported by Sidney Medics to Wilson Health after an accident on Friday at 12:47 p.m.

Beam was traveling northbound on Vandemark Road when she experienced a medical problem that caused a runaway vehicle. Her vehicle went off the right side of the road, over a ditch, into a field and crashed in a DP&L sub station fence.

Fire, rescue

MONDAY

-8:56 p.m.: medical. Perry Port Salem Rescue responded to the 9000 block of Tawawa Mapelwood Road in Salem Township.

-6:23 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue responded to to the 100 block of Redbud Circle in Jackson Township.

-4:54 p.m.: fire. Fort Loramie Fire Department was dispatched to state Route 66 and Canal Road in McLean Township on the report of a field fire.

-2:03 a.m.: fire. Houston Rescue and Fire Department, Lockington Fire Department, Port Jefferson Fire Department, Sidney Fire Department and Deputies were dispatched to 372 Tow Path Trail in Washington Township on the report of a shed and trailer fire.

SUNDAY

-8:23 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue, Botkins Fire Department, Van Buren Township Fire Department, and Ohio State Patrol responded to Botkins Road and Hardin Wapakoneta Road in Van Buren Township on the report of an accident with injuries.

-8:03 p.m.: medical. Perry Port Salem Rescue, CareFlight, Rosewood Fire Department and Deputies responded to the 4000 block of state Route 29 in Green Township on the report of a two-vehicle accident.

-4:11 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue responded to the 3000 block of Sidney Freyburg Road in Franklin Township.

-1:55 p.m.: fire. Fort Loramie Fire Department was dispatched to 5665 Cardo Road in Cynthian Township on the report of a tree on fire in the woods.

-12:53 p.m.: fire. Anna Fire Department was dispatched to 104 N. Pike St. in Dinsmore Township on the report of an electric line on fire.

-12:47 a.m.: medical. Perry Port Salem Rescue and Port Jefferson Fire Department and Deputies responded to the 2000 block of Riverside Drive in Salem Township on the report of an accident with injuries.

SATURDAY

-6:44 p.m.: medical. Houston Rescue responded to the 500 block of Lockport Trail in Washington Township.
