-4:33 p.m.: theft. Mark White Jr., 611 S. Knoop Johnston Road, reported he lost $400 at 125 Court St. and that he knows who picked it up and left with the money

-4:23 p.m.: lost property. Kathleen Bass, 71, 239 N. Walnut Ave., reported to have lost an LG cellphone at Fair Road and Campbell Road.

-10:39 a.m.: criminal simulation. Speedway on St. Marys Avenue reported a counterfeit $20 bill was given at the gas station.

SUNDAY

-7:37 p.m.: probation violation. Cody Plaisted, 25, Piqua, was arrested on a probation violation warrant and for driving under suspension.

-4:41 p.m.: theft. Virgen Casiano, 51, 408 Franklin St., reported her vehicle was taken without her permission.

-4:08 p.m.: theft. Beth Griffieth, 39, 106 N. Wilkinson Ave., reported someone she knows took her cellphone without her permission.

-3:58 p.m.: warrant. Jason Nation, 42, 1107 East Ave., was arrested on a contempt warrant.

-5:29 a.m.: discharging firearms. Police investigated the report made by Samantha Wildow, 25, 611 S. Walnut Ave., of shots fired near her home.

-1:52 a.m.: criminal damaging. Adam Miller, 26, 424 S. Main Ave., was arrested for criminal damaging after police responded to a report of a fight and of five damaged tires on two different vehicles at 533 N. Vandemark Road.

-12:35 a.m.: criminal damaging. Sarah Fitzgerald, 29, 542 Campbell Road, reported the left rear passenger’s window was broken on her vehicle.

SATURDAY

-9:06 p.m.: domestic violence. Marie Masteller, 35, 320 S. Miami Ave., was arrested for domestic violence.

-8:57 p.m.: theft. Michael Bynum, 23, 122 Beech St., reported the theft of a Trump flag from his front porch.

-8:27 p.m.: driving under the influence. Deborah Terry, 54, Beavercreek, was arrested for OVI.

-7:19 p.m.: theft. Chelsea O’Reilly, 23, 803 ½ S. Main Ave., reported the theft of a BMX bike.

-5:36 p.m.: theft. Police investigated the report made by Joshua Pellman, 24, 632 Michigan St., of the past theft of a silver class ring valued at $100. According to the police report, it was recovered on Oct. 8.

-4:20 p.m.: theft. Chad Johnson, 44, 10977 Comanche Drive, was arrested for theft.

-3:30 p.m.: theft. A 15-year-old male was arrested for theft after the Dollar General on West Court Street reported the theft of $6 in merchandise.

-9:55 a.m.: vandalism. Council of Religious Freedom on East Hoewisher Road reported their bus was spray painted sometime between Oct. 4-8.

-9:34 a.m.: criminal damaging. Margaret Campbell, 29, Piqua, reported the front driver’s side window of her vehicle was shattered at 723 Campbell Road .

-2:10 a.m.: theft. Larry Jones, 55, Piqua, reported someone took his vehicle without his permission from the 100 block of North Pomeroy Avenue.

FRIDAY

-11:24 p.m.: burglary. Chad Hutchinson, 31, 307 N. Miami Ave., Apt. 3, reported the theft of his Philips 50-inch flat screen TV.

-10:04 p.m.: theft. Lester Berning, 66, 6634 Hardin Wapak Road, reported the theft of clothing valued at $67.

-7:32 p.m.: warrant. Sierra Harris, 30, 2626 Terry Hawk Drive, was arrested on a warrant.

-10:20 a.m.: lost property. Eric Wesh, 32, 848 ½ Spruce Ave., reported he lost his Smith and Wesson hand gun at a hotel.

-7:57 a.m.: theft. Main Stop Drive Thru on North Main Street reported the theft of $13 from the business.

THURSDAY

-8:58 p.m.: breaking and entering. Shreves Construction on East Popular Street reported a past breaking and entering and damage to a window.

OCT. 5

-11:16 p.m.: burglary. Sasha Young, 28, 308 N. Miami Ave., Apt. 3, reported someone she knows entered her residence and stole a PlayStation 4.

Accidents

Michael Akers, 22, 539 S. Ohio Ave., was cited with failure to control after a two-vehicle collision on Sunday at 1:19 p.m.

Akers was traveling eastbound in the 200 block of Pike Street when he crossed the double yellow lines stuck the vehicle driven by Bonnie Hughes, 39, 411 Bowman Drive.

• Benjamin Davis, 33, 434 E. Hoewisher Road, Apt. B1, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle collision on Sunday at 11:57 a.m.

Davis was traveling southbound on Wapakoneta Avenue when he failed to stop in time and rear-ended the vehicle in front of him that was attempting to turn east into the drive of 2598 Wapakoneta Ave.

The driver of the other vehicle was Michael Wick, 50, 582 W. Hoewisher Road.

• Deborah Terry, 54, of Beavercreek, was cited with assured clear distance ahead following a two-vehicle collision on Saturday at 8:27 p.m.

Terry was traveling southbound on North Vandemark Road when she rear-ended another vehicle in front of her stopped at the light at the intersection at Michigan Street.

The driver of the other vehicle was Ralph Abbott, 77, 17860 Maloney Road.

• Brandy Ward, 37, 208 Grove St., was cited with obedience to traffic control device after a crash on Saturday at 8:22 a.m.

Ward was traveling eastbound on state Route 47 when she ran the red light and hit another vehicle traveling southbound on North Miami Avenue.

The driver of the other vehicle was Thomas Thompson, 56, 3107 Sidney Freyburg Road.

• Jammie Bowersock, 48, 314 Linden Ave., was cited with obedience to traffic control device after a collision on Friday at 5:53 p.m.

Bowersock was traveling eastbound and approaching the red light Michigan Street at the Interstate 75 northbound exit ramp when he failed to stop in time and struck the side of the vehicle driven by Elaine Chavez, 28, of Piqua, attempting to make a westbound turn onto Michigan Street from the I-75 exit ramp.

TUESDAY

-7:49 a.m. to 12:53 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to six calls.

MONDAY

-3:44 p.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched to 2615 Campbell Road for a false fire alarm.

-3:22 p.m.: mutual aid. Medics were dispatched to Lockington for the mutual aid of an auto accident.

-12:27 a.m. to 5:47 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to eight calls.

SUNDAY

-4:36 p.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched on the report of a car fire.

-11:08 a.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched on a fire alarm.

-2:07 to 9:51 p.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched on two odor investigations.

-9:33 a.m. to 11:50 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to seven calls.
