-10:07 p.m.: vehicle trespass. Kenneth Sharp, 28, 510 S. Miami Ave., reported someone entered his vehicle overnight.

-10:13 p.m.: theft. Ronald Webb, 45, 219 Pike St., reported the theft of a black motorized Honda scooter.

-4:04 p.m.: theft. Buckeye Ford on Michigan Street reported the theft of a 2013 Chevy Impala valued at $12,400.

-12:17 p.m.: criminal damaging. Janice Rediess, 83, 521 Stonecastle Court, reported someone spray painted SDK in red paint on the entry doorway at Just Sew on North Ohio Avenue.

-8:48 a.m.: domestic violence. Mark LeMaster, 47, 701 Monroe Ave., was arrested for domestic violence.

-6:44 a.m.: aggravated assault. Adam Abbott, 25, 490 W. Parkwood St., was arrested for aggravated menacing and assault.

SUNDAY

-9:42 p.m.: criminal damaging. Gunnar Weymer, 18, 429 S. Main Ave., reported damage to two vehicles at his residence. The hood was spray painted and right rear tire was slashed on one vehicle, and both passenger’s side doors were spray painted on a second vehicle .

-7:29 p.m.: theft. Curtis Fiessinger, 36, Fort Loramie, reported someone entered his parked vehicle at Walmart on Michigan Street and took $5 in loose change and a pack of Marlboro light cigarettes.

-5:50 p.m.: theft. Tammy Napier, 39, 224 Pike St., reported the theft of a black BMX bike.

-2:49 p.m.: theft. Lisa Werling, 47, 17175 Ft. Loramie Swanders Road, reported the theft of $1 in change and a can of mace from her vehicle parked at Wilson Health on Michigan Street.

-11:36 a.m.: found property. A MasterCard belonging to Michael Neumeyer was found at Sidney High School on Campbell Road and was turned into the police department.

-10:01 a.m.: criminal mischief. Gary Smith, 59, 1154 Fairmont Drive, reported his house was egged.

-10 a.m.: criminal damaging. Nathan Kerber, 38, Perrysburg, reported the molding was damaged on the trunk area of his vehicle.

SATURDAY

-10:09 p.m.: driving under the influence. Elizabeth Lessing, 36, 202 King Court, was arrested for OVI.

-8:27 p.m.: theft. Marathon Gas Station on East North Street reported the theft of a candy bar.

-11:13 a.m.: theft. Daniel Bancroft, 50, at large, was arrested on a warrant.

-9:45 a.m.: criminal damaging. Jack Clark, 85, 405 S. Miami Ave., reported someone had spray painted his vehicle’s front and back license plates with red paint.

-9:28 a.m.: criminal damaging. The mailbox belonging to Wesley Keifer, 86, 632 Folkerth Ave., was damaged overnight.

-9:15 a.m.: criminal damaging. Cynthia Simpson, 59, 133 S. Vandemark Road, reported someone damaged a window on her home.

-7:15 a.m.: criminal damaging. Shelly Fogt, 43, 804 S. Miami Ave., reported her car had been spray painted overnight.

-3:13 a.m.: criminal damaging. Two tires on the vehicle owned by Henry Howell, 44, 987 Buckeye Ave., were reported to have been cut.

-2:41 a.m.: burglary. Police are investigating the report of a burglary made by David Gibbs, 61, 214 S. Wagner Ave.

-1:41 a.m.: burglary. Amy Cramer, 30, 811 Arrowhead Drive, Apt. B, reported a burglary at her address.

-1:28 a.m. warrant. Christina Bray, 41, at large, was arrested for a contempt warrant.

FRIDAY

-11:44 p.m.: criminal damaging. Vera Hook, 52, 217 E. North St., reported someone spray painted graffiti on the back door to her residence.

-10:50 p.m.: theft. Police are investigating the report of the theft of $47.89 made by Walmart on Michigan Street.

-9:55 p.m.: driving under the influence. John Schneider, 35, 2727 W. Millcreek Road, was arrested for OVI.

-2:35 p.m.: domestic violence. Daniel Wade, 52, 220 Oak Ave., was arrested for domestic violence.

-9:53 a.m.: found property. A black IPhone was found in the 100 block of Court Street in the road and was turned into the police department.

Nov. 23

-10:32 p.m.: burglary. Adam Stewart, 27, 708 Ronan St., reported an attempted burglary.

Crashes

Patrick Vasquez, 30, 309 E. Bennett St., was cited with failure to control after a crash on Monday at 10 p.m.

Vasquez was traveling northbound on Oak Avenue when he failed to negotiate the curb at Goode Street and went off the north side of the road and struck a tree.

He then fled the scene, but upon further police investigation, admitted to driving the vehicle and leaving the scene.

• Kaytlin Maddy, 16, of St. Paris, was cited with assured distance ahead following a two-vehicle collision on Monday at 4:30 p.m.

Maddy was traveling westbound on Court Street when she failed to stop in time for stopped traffic and rear-ended the vehicle in front of her driven by Delores Stewart, 77, 520 Railroad St.

• Ralph Leckey, 61, 818 Wapakoneta Ave., Apt. 3, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle collision on Monday at 1:24 p.m.

Leckey as traveling westbound on Michigan Street when she failed to stop in time for stopped traffic and rear-ended the vehicle in front of her driven by Madeyln Brazeal, 58, 104 High St.

• Kaye Jabler, 62, of Anna, was cited with failure to control following a crash on Monday at 3:28 a.m.

Jabler was traveling southbound on North Vandemark Road when the she left the roadway to the right and stuck a large rock in the driveway of Hemm’s Glass Shops on North Vandemark Road. Then she crossed all four lanes on North Vandemark Road and came to a stop outside of the traffic way, on the left.

• Lynnette Koehler, 30, 1670 Wildwood Court, was cited with operation without reasonable control after a crash on Sunday at 6:01 p.m.

Koehler told police she was traveling southbound on Westwood Drive, sneezed and when she looked up struck the rear of the parked vehicle owned by Marlin Shamblin, of Jekyll Island, Georgia.

• No one was cited following a two-vehicle collision on Saturday at 6:54 p.m.

Tyler White, 27, 3499 County Road 25A, was towing a vehicle with a tow truck and traveling eastbound on state Route 29 when his vehicle’s mirror and the mirror of the westbound vehicle on state Route 29 driven by James Brautigam, 43, 5061 State Route 29, struck each other.

According to the police report, both vehicles had oversized mirrors. Also, vehicles were parked on both sides of the roadway. Each driver claimed to be in his correct lane.

Because police were unable to determine who was at fault, no citations were issued.

• Jenna Branam, 25, 707 W. Hoewisher Road, was cited for assured clear distance ahead after collision on Saturday at 4:56 p.m.

Branam had been stopped at a red light facing westbound on state Route 47 and when the light turned green she moved forward and rear-ended the vehicle driven by Korey Day, 19, of Dayton, that was stopped in front of her and had not moved yet.

• Bryan Charles, 25, 615 Michigan St., was cited for red light violation on Saturday at 12:55 p.m.

Charles was eastbound on state Route 47 and failed to stop for the red light and struck the vehicle driven by Jacob Schumpert, 24, of Anna, that was exiting Interstate 75 and turning southeast onto state route 47.

• Sy Hapsatou, 29, of Columbus, was cited with failure to control after a collision on Saturday at 11:37 a.m.

Hapsatou was traveling westbound on Riverbend Boulevard when he side-swiped the vehicle owned by Faith Couch, 1152 Riverbend Blvd., that was parked in front of her home.

• Zachary Luthman, 27, 800 Doorley Road, was arrested for OVI and cited with failure to control after a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 12:38 p.m.

Luthman was traveling southbound on state Route 29 when he crossed over the two southbound lanes, went across into the northbound lanes and struck the northbound vehicle driven by Nathan Amoring, 27, 1504 Grove St., which spun Amoring’s vehicle into the grass

• Joshua Walker, 16, 309 Bon Air Drive, was cited with driving within lanes after a two-vehicle collision on Friday at 12:06 p.m.

Walker was traveling southbound on North Miami Avenue when he made a right hand turn onto state Route 29 and struck the eastbound vehicle driven by Helen Goins, 54, 305 S. Vandemark Road.

• Jonathan Turner, 17, 1348 Rutledge St., was cited with failure to control after a crash on Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 12:35 p.m.

Turner was traveling northbound on Main Avenue at Wapakoneta Avenue when he told police his vehicle slid on the wet pavement and was unable to stop in time before striking a city owned“Slow Down” sign and then a rock wall at 728 Wapakoneta Avenue.
