Sheriff’s log

TUESDAY

-1:10 p.m.: property-damage accident. A car hit a pole at 2231 State Route 29.

-10:40 a.m.: property-damage accident. A vehicle went through a fence overnight in the area of Mason and Thompson-Schiff roads.

-10:09 a.m.: accident with injuries. A semi rig went off the road and through a guardrail on southbound Interstate 75 at the 92 mile marker.

-9:50 a.m.: threats and assault. Threats or harassment and an assault were reported at the Sidney Alternative School, 315 W. Russell Road.

MONDAY

-3:22 p.m.: property-damage accident. An auto accident occurred at the intersection of McCloskey School Road and state Route 29.

Fire, rescue

SUNDAY

-11:23 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue was called to the 200 block of Cole Street, Jackson Center.

-8:05 p.m.: medical. Houston Rescue was called to the 7000 block of Hughes Road.

-6:42 p.m.: medical. Fort Loramie Rescue was called to the 10000 block of state Route 362.

-3:41 p.m.: fire. Van Buren Township Fire was called to investigate a nuisance burn at 8900 State Route 274.

Both cars sustained major damage. One car, upper left, went into a field.

Sidney firefighters tend to a man injured in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of South Kuther Road and Schenk Road. The man was taken away by ambulance. Two other men were injured but refused treatment. None of the injuries were life-threatening. The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. The accident occurred around 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13.
