WEDNESDAY
-6:05 p.m.: failure to pay city taxes. Lee Burress, 26, 309 Doering St., was issued a summons for failure to pay city taxes.
-5:38 p.m.: theft. Laci Overbey, 26, 728 Taft St., was arrested for theft after Walmart on Michigan Street reported the shoplifting of $90.38 in merchandise.
-5:36 p.m.: failure to pay city taxes. Nicole Crouch, 29, 218 Forest St., was issued a summons for failure to pay city taxes.
-5:30 p.m.: failure to pay city taxes. Cindy Douglas, 44, 204 Forest St., was issued a summons for failure to pay city taxes.
-9:04 a.m.: theft. Ulysee Robinson Jr., 51, 329 Maple St., reported someone stole a black go-kart the front yard of his residence.

-10:54 p.m.: fire. Firefighters responded to an alarm caused by a faulty smoke detector.
-8:06 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to an automobile crash. There were no injuries.
-7:21 p.m.: fire. Crews responded to a false fire alarm.
-12:23 p.m.: odor. Firefighters investigated an odor of natural gas. Nothing was found.
-10:20 a.m.: assist. Crews responded to assists occupants stuck in an elevator.
-8:17 a.m.: service call. Crews responded to a service call. EMS was not needed.
