SHS counselor elected OSCA president-elect

SIDNEY — Evan Jackson, school counselor at Sidney High School, has been elected as president-elect of the Ohio School Counselor Association (OSCA).

Jackson will begin serving his three-year term in the presidential track as president-elect, president, and past president respectively on Jan. 1. In this position, Jackson will serve as the representative for all school counselors, counselor educators and student members of the Ohio School Counselor Association. He will support the profession and work with the Ohio Legislature, the Ohio Department of Education and other professional groups to advocate for school counselors.
