Christian Academy sets Art from Heart

SIDNEY — Christian Academy Schools will host Art from the Heart, Feb. 20, at 7 p.m.

The event is an evening of live entertainment, hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction of art and art-related items. During this evening, students of Christian Academy Schools and other local artists will display their works of art. The silent auction will offer services along with the art items. The evening’s live entertainment will feature the Eternal Voices show choir, student piano performances and a surprise duet.

“Join us for a unique and exciting silent auction experience! Students in red bow ties, known as bid runners, will submit your bids. Relax, visit with friends, and enjoy the live entertainment while watching the changing bids on two large screens at the front of the room. The evening promises to be an experience you won’t want to miss,” said Mary Smith, superintendent. “The purpose of the evening becomes apparent as comments and words of encouragement are offered by young and old to these budding student artists. This year we will once again be inviting local artists from our community in hopes that students will see the legacy of the artistic studies.”

Among the auction items are a weekend at the Inn at Versailles and dinner at Michael Anthony’s.

Tickets to Art from the Heart are $10 per person, and can be purchased at the door or in advance by calling 492-7556.
