CINCINNATI — Gerry Faust, former head football coach at Archbishop Moeller High School and Notre Dame University, will keynote a father-son event on Saturday, Oct. 29, at The Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori School in Madison Place, a half-mile from Mariemont Square.

Faust will speak following a 10 a.m. Mass celebrated by the Rev. Dan Schmitmeyer, vocations director for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.

“I have great memories of attending father and son events with my father and I hope that men will take advantage of this opportunity to spend a morning with their sons and grandsons,” said Mike Widmeyer, a GSCM dad, Moeller graduate and organizer of this event.

He went on to say that he and his brothers had the privilege of being at Moeller when Faust was there.

“Everyone knows that Coach Faust loves the sport of football,” he said. “He is also a great role model for how men should live their faith.”

Tickets are $20 for men and $10 for their sons or grandsons. The event includes a box lunch.

To register, send a check to GSCM at 4460 Berwick St., Cincinnati, OH 45227-335 or register online at https://app.etapestry.com/onlineforms/TheGoodShepherdCatholicMontes_1/Faust.html.
