To the editor:

I would like to commend our street department employees for quickly replacing the broken area around a storm drain on our street. I contacted Superintendent Brian Green by email and the next day I received a reply from him, plus a phone call from Street Department employee Kent Fogt, acknowledging my request and a time frame of repair. Within a few days the area was coned off, marked, and the damaged area replaced. My husband and I fully appreciate the prompt response and attention paid to this problem, and wanted to publicly acknowledge Mr. Green and Mr. Fogt and the entire crew for their dedication to its citizens. Thanks for a job well Done!
