To the editor:

Saturday, March 18, was the annual Boy Scout Food Drive and the FISH food pantry was fortunate to be the recipient of a large amount of that food. Our shelves are now overflowing and what an awesome sight. These boys deserve a lot of credit for all the hard work they did on an early, dreary, cold morning. They delivered the food to our store, unloaded it and put it in the correct areas for us. These boys conducted themselves in a very helpful manner, and their Scout Masters deserve a lot of credit. They are teaching these boys how to be responsible, caring, hard working individuals that will grow up to be leaders of our community. Our citizens also deserve credit for all the food they put out for this project. It was a success from every angle. Like I have said many times, the citizens of Sidney and Shelby County have big hearts and are the best. FISH wants to thank everyone that made this event such a success!
