Trent Knoop, Sidney High School’s head bowling coach, rolled his first 800 series of the season and third of his career last Sunday in the Sunday Morning Trio League at Bel-Mar Lanes.

He rolled games of 269, 299 and 246 for the 814. He left the 10 pin on his last ball in the second game to finish one pin shy of a perfect game.

His high series is an 816, which he bowled last season, and he has an average of 233 this season.

He joins Clint Limbert, Joe Green and Ryan Yinger as the only bowlers to roll an 800 series so far this season.
