Anna teams first at Fort Loramie

FORT LORAMIE — Fort Loramie hosted a four-team track meet on Tuesday at the school, with Anna, Fort Recovery and New Knoxville participating.

The finals boys standings had Anna with 117, Loramie with 68 and Recovery with 67. Anna’s Blake Stephens won two evernts, the long jump and high jump

The final girls standings had Anna with 91, Loramie 76, Recovery 71 and New Knoxville 16.

Fort Loramie’s Olivia Quinter was outstanding again, winning three individual events and leading off a winning relay team. She won the 100 hurdles, the 300 hurdles and the long jump, and also ran lead leg on the first-place 1600 relay team.

VERSAILLES — The Versailles boys and girls teams both emerged victorious in the Stillwater Valley Track Invitational, held at Versailles Tuesday.

Versailles won the girls meet with 164, to 116.5 for runner-up Covington.

The Versailles boys had 168 to win by five points over Greenville.

There were 11 teams participating in each.

For the Lady Tigers, the 3200 relay team won in 10:27.16, for a margin of over 18 seconds, Haley Winner won the 100 in 13.5, the 400 relay team won in 53.11, Haley Winner won the 400 in 64.1, Ellen Peters won the 300 hurdles in 50.62, and the 1600 relay team won in 4:28.85.

In the field events, Jenna Frantz took first in the pole vault at 11-9.

For the Tiger boys, Josh Steinbrunner won four events, the 110 hurdles in 15.49, the 300 hurdles in 40.99, the high jump at 6-1, and the long jump at 18-10.

The 3200 relay team won in 8:44.53, for a margin of over 20 seconds, Noah Pleiman was first in the 800 in 2:09.4, Joe Spitzer won the 3200 in 9:53.9, the 1600 relay team won in 3:41.37, and the 4×103 relay team won in 51.44,
