Anna golfers win invitational

GREENVILLE — The Anna Rockets took top honors Saturday in the Franklin Monroe Invitational for boys golf, shooting a 341 toe dge the Versailles Tigers by just three strokes.

Anna was led by Zach Watren with an 81, which tied him for second overall. Eli Kuck shot an 85, Mason Platfoot 98 and Evan Bensman 89.

For Versailles, Nicholas Litten-Stonebraker also had an 81, Kyle Cotner 85, Isaac Ruhenkamp 88 and Preston Platfoot 95.

Houstopn was 12th with a 411 and led by Cameron Via with a 92.

Loramie first

Fort Loramie hosted Marion Local and Waynesfield Saturday in a tri-match at Arrowhead.

Loramie had 170, Waynesfield 202 and Marion 215.

Loramie was led by Brad Gottemoeller with a 42, Eli Rosengarten had a 43 and Mitchell Puthoff and Ethan Broerman both shot 44.

Dylan Homan had a 48 for Marion.

Versailles 164, Rusia 174

Versailles beat Russia on Friday at Stillwater 164-174.

For Russia, Nicholas Litten-Stonebraker shot a 35 and Alex Groff 38. Austin Pleiman had a 40 and Isaac Ruhenkamp 44.

For Russia, Jack Dapore had a 40, Brandon Koverman 44, and Clay George and Dylan Cordonnier 45.

Lehman 180, NK 217

Lehman won at Arrowhead of New Knoxville Friday, 180-214.

Ryan Schmidt shot a 40 to lead the Cavs, Cole Gilardi had a 44, Tyler Lachey 47 and Parker Riley 49.
