COLDWATER — There were several West Ohio High School Bowling Conference bowling matches held on Saturday at Pla-Mor Lanes in Coldwater.

Boys

The Russia boys lost by just five pins to Fort Recovery in league play, 2443-2438.

For Russia, Henry Tumbusch led the way with a 371 series on games of 192 and 180, and Kaleb Sowards had a 333 on games of 143 and 190. Hunter Lloyd added a 174 and a 151 for a 325, and Luke Dahlinghaus had a 157 game.

Russia had 1569 in regular games and 869 in baker.

Russia drops to 0-3 in the South Division and is 1-5 overall.

• Minster lost to Coldwater 3079-2647 to fall to 2-2 in the South and 2-4 overall.

Jordan Brackman had an outstanding series, with games of 200 and 255 for a 455 series. And Austen Vanderhorst also shot well, with a 410 on games of 167 and 243.

Jared Heitkamp added a 323 on games of 168 and 155 and Seth Reeves 319 on games of 150 and 169.

Minster had a 1798 in regular games and an 849 in baker.

• The Versailles boys upped their South record to 3-1 and overall mark to 4-2 with a 2750-2422 win over Marion Local.

Versailles was led by Alex Groff with games of 166 and 232 for a 398, and Jacob Wenig with a 178 and a 213 for a 391.

Close behind was Luke Shellhaas with games of 204 and 181 for a 395 series, and Kyle Cotner added a 358 on games of 191 and 167. Brandon Bradley added a 169 and Brody Hyre a 153.

Girls

The Fort Loramie girls defeated Fort Recovery 1989-1713 and are now 3-2 in the South and 3-4 overall.

Jenna Thomas led Loramie with a 284 on games of 123 and 161, and Elena Butcher had a 269 on games of 116 and 153. Taylor Landrey had a 139 game.

The Lady Redskins had 1260 in regular games and a 729 in baker.

• The Minster girls defeated Russia 2226-1996.

For Minster, Lacey Dirksen had a 303 on games of 135 and 168, Emma Snyder 302 on games of 165 and 137, Maya Watercutter had a 292 with a 147 and 1456, and both Ally Grieshop and Kayla Steger added 285. Steger’s included a 155 game and Grieshop’s a 149.

For Russia, Raven Boerger was tops with a 297, including a 192 game. Savannah Albers was next with a 254 series, and Destiny Osborne’s only game was a 177.

Minster is 3-2 in the South and 3-4 overall. Russia is 2-3 and 4-3.

• The Versailles girls rolled an impressive 2580 to defeat Marion Local’s 2169 in another South match.

Morgan Heitkamp had games of 277 and 161 for a 438, Brigette Holsapple a 191 and a 196 for a 387, and Lindsey Cheadle games of 208 and 353 for a 353. Haddi Treon had a 187 game and Morgan Barlage a 165.

For Marion Local, Lindsey Schemmel had a 340 series on games of 162 and 178, Shayla Bertke a 312 on games of 150 and 162, and Rachel Wolters added a 186 game.

Versailles is 4-1 in the South and 5-2 overall. Marion is 2-3 and 2-5.
