Man gets prison for killing 2 while attempting burnouts


CLEVELAND (AP) — A northeast Ohio man is heading to prison after admitting he drunkenly drove his car into a house attempting to spin the wheels of his car, fatally injuring his father and another man who were in the home.

Cleveland.com reports (http://bit.ly/294u0TK ) Brian Naylor pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide, aggravated vehicular assault and driving under the influence charges. The Grafton man was sentenced Thursday afternoon to 6 ½ years in prison.

Seventy-seven-year-old Delmar Naylor and 61-year-old Thomas Beaune had been inside a suburban Cleveland home last August when the younger Naylor lost control of his car attempting to perform burnouts. His car tore across the driveway and into the home.

Delmar Naylor and Beaune were both hospitalized and later died from their injuries.
