HAMILTON, Ohio (AP) — A man accused in a bar shooting that left one person dead and several others wounded in southwestern Ohio has been charged with murder and assault.
Court records 21-year-old Mondale Goens was arraigned Monday in Hamilton Municipal Court on one count of murder and two counts of felonious assault. The judge set bond at $2 million.
Court records don’t list an attorney for Goens.
Authorities didn’t immediately say what led to the shooting or how many people were injured. The identity of the person who was killed was being withheld until relatives could be notified.
Callers to 911 reported between 15 and 20 shots were fired at the Doubles Bar in Hamilton around 2 a.m. Sunday.
A preliminary hearing for Goens is set for Aug. 1.
