OXFORD, Ohio (AP) — Administrators and students at Miami University have expressed concern after several white nationalist posters started appearing on the Oxford school’s campus as of late.
Miami spokeswoman Claire Wagner tells The Cincinnati Enquirer (http://cin.ci/2fnHrS8 ) that the university is aware the offensive posters were hung inside academic buildings but it’s unclear who posted them.
One poster read: “Tired of Anti-White Propaganda in college? You aren’t alone.” It included a link to a racist and anti-Semitic website.
Graduate student Cat Munroe saw one poster near Miami’s Business, Engineering, Science and Technology Library last week. She says she wasn’t surprised given the climate surrounding this presidential election.
Wagner says student groups that post fliers must first obtain approval from the Office of Student Activities. She believes the posters must have come from someone off-campus.
