WEDNESDAY

-7:33 a.m.: accident with injuries. A vehicle crash with injuries occurred in the 5000 block of state Route 29. Perry-Port-Salem Rescue, Port Jefferson Fire and deputies responded.

-7:19 a.m.: theft. A trailer was stolen from 8826 State Route 274.

TUESDAY

-3:54 p.m.: theft. A resident at 1647 Miami Conservancy Road reported someone opened a PayPal account.

Fire, rescue

WEDNESDAY

-12:41 p.m.: injury. A man fell from the roof at The Palazzo, 309 S. Main St., Botkins. Anna Rescue, Botkins Fire and Police responded.

-7:27 a.m.: medical. Anna Rescue was called to Honda, 12500 Meranda Road.

TUESDAY

-8:47 p.m.: injury. Russia Fire and Versailles Life Squad were called to the 100 block of Borchers Street, Russia.

-7:40 p.m.: medical. Anna and Perry-Port-Salem Rescue were called to the 300 block of North Ohio Street, Jackson Center.

-6:14 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue and Jackson Center Fire were called to the 100 block of Redbud Circle.

Botkins firefighters and Anna Rescue workers carry a man to a waiting CareFlight helicopter after he fell 20 feet while doing maintenance work on The Palazzo Wednesday, around 12:45 p.m. CareFlight landed in a field across from The Palazzo. The Botkins Police also responded to the scene. Police Chief Wayne Glass said the 33-year-old man, an electrical contractor employee, was working alone on a light when possibly a ladder shifted and he fell. Glass did not identify the man, pending receiving more information about the severity of his injuries.
